One of the next movies on the way from A24 (Midsommar, The Green Knight) is titled God’s Creatures, Deadline reports today, and it’s being billed as a “psychological drama.”

Saela Davis and Anna Rose Holmer (The Fits) are directing for A24, with Emily Watson, Paul Mescal, Aisling Franciosi, Declan Conlon, Marion O’Dwyer and Toni O’Rourke starring.

Deadline details, “The film is a psychological drama set in a rain-swept Irish fishing village. God’s Creatures focuses on a mother who lies to protect her son and the devastating impact that choice has on her community, her family and herself.”

Shane Crowley wrote the script, with a story by Fodhla Cronin O’Reilly & Shane Crowley.
