‘Back to the Future’ Meets ‘Scream’ in ‘Freaky’ Writer Michael Kennedy’s Next Movie ‘Time Cut’!

The writer and director of slasher-comedy Freaky are reuniting for a young adult horror movie titled Time Cut, THR reports this week, with director Christopher Landon producing and writer Michael Kennedy writing the script alongside Sono Patel (“The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel”)!

Madison Bailey, pictured below in Outer Banks, leads the cast with Antonia Gentry (Ginny & Georgia).

Hannah MacPherson (“Into the Dark”) is directing Time Cut, described as “Back to the Future meets Scream.” That’s all we know about this one for now, as plot details are under wraps.

“Production is eying a June start in Canada,” the site notes.

ACE Entertainment is behind the project.
