“Lisey’s Story”: New Images Preview the Upcoming Stephen King Adaptation from Apple TV+

Julianne Moore and Clive Owen are the stars of a small screen adaptation of Stephen King‘s “Lisey’s Story” that’s coming to Apple TV+ on June 4, and what’s particularly notable about this King adaptation is that the 8-hour series was written by King himself.

Entertainment Weekly previews “Lisey’s Story” with exclusive images and insights today, with Julianne Moore explaining to the outlet that the series is incredibly faithful to King’s book.

“It’s all in there. Because there’s so much in it — psychological horror, romance, mystery, a science-fiction-like quality, sort of scary brutality — sometimes I was like, holy cow, what now?” Moore tells Entertainment Weekly. Check out the brand new images down below.

“The series is described as a deeply personal thriller that follows Lisey (Moore) two years following the death of her husband. The series explores a series of events that causes her to begin facing amazing realities about her husband that she had repressed and forgotten.”

J.J. Abrams produced “Lisey’s Story” through Bad Robot Productions.

Dane DehaanJoan AllenJennifer Jason Leigh, and Sung Kang will also star.
