NECA had surprised us last summer by unleashing our first look at a brand new Jason Voorhees action figure, coming along at a time when the entire Friday the 13th franchise is pretty much on hold due to an ongoing legal battle. But NECA is making it happen regardless, with the upcoming figure based on Kane Hodder’s portrayal of Jason in Part 7: The New Blood!
The figure includes two heads – masked and unmasked – as well as a slew of weapons including an ax, knife, machete, scythe and even the infamous weed whacker.
The New Blood is of course notable for being Kane Hodder’s first appearance as Jason, with the horror icon officially becoming an undead, almost zombie-like monster.
