[Trailer] Face The Undead in Upcoming Roguelike Survivor Horror Title ‘Outbreak: Endless Nightmares’

Maybe you’ve already polished off Resident Evil Village. Maybe you hate Resident Evil, and want something else. Dead Drop Studios might have the answer for you next week with the release of their co-op survival horror roguelike, Outbreak: Endless Nightmares, on May 19th.

A sequel to their 2018 title Outbreak: The Nightmare Chronicles, Endless Nightmares has you trapped within the remains of Arzt Memorial Hospital, which just so happens to have the undead out for your flesh. You’ll need to explore, hunt for supplies, uncover clues, and fight your way through semi-procedurally generated “anomalies”.

According to the game’s Steam page, Endless Nightmares focuses on “extreme replayability” by offering multiple character options, each with their own abilities and upgrade paths. Each time you venture into an anomaly, it’ll change and become increasingly difficult as you grow in power. You’ll need to think about what weapons, healing items, and other supplies you’ll need to equip to survive.

Outbreak: Endless Nightmares is expected on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Steam.
