Up next from Josh Ruben (Scare Me) is the horror-comedy video game adaptation Werewolves Within, “a whodunnit with teeth” that has just unleashed its full official trailer.
IFC Films will bring Werewolves Within to limited theaters on June 25 and VOD/Digital July 2.
In the film…
“After a proposed gas pipeline creates divisions within the small town of Beaverfield, and a snowstorm traps its residents together inside the local inn, newly arrived forest ranger Finn (Sam Richardson) and postal worker Cecily (Milana Vayntrub) must try to keep the peace and uncover the truth behind a mysterious creature that has begun terrorizing the community.”
Josh Ruben says that Werewolves Within is an homage to his love for Hot Fuzz, the Coen Brothers, and Arachnophobia, but notes that “it’s also about the monster in all of us.”
