Release Date For ‘Shin Megami Tensei V’ Leaked by Official Site

Hot on the heels of the release of the remaster of Shin Megami Tensei 3: Nocturne, fans waiting for Shin Megami Tensei V won’t have to wait long. Spotted by Persona Central, Shin Megami Tensei V will apparently launch for the Nintendo Switch on November 11 in an apparent “oops” by the game’s official Japanese website, which posted the announcement prematurely.

Per the reveal of the sequel last July, that November 11 would also apply to the North American and European releases. The official site also stated that Shin Megami Tensei V will cost 8,890 yen for the standard edition in Japan, with the limited edition “Forbidden Nahobino Box” setting you back 14,800 yen.

According to the official site, Shin Megami Tensei V centres on a high school student who winds up lost in another world known as “Da’at”, a world covered in desert where various gods and demons wander. After fusing with a mysterious man and becoming the “forbidden existence” Nahobino, the protagonist throws himself into the battle between gods and demons.

Again, while nothing is confirmed, given that E3 isn’t too far off (June 12, to be exact), we’ll probably be hearing more about the game very soon.
