‘Stopmotion’ Characters Come to Life in Horror Movie Starring ‘The Nightingale’ Actress Aisling Franciosi

Up next from actress Aisling Franciosi (The Nightingale, pictured above) is a horror movie with a really cool premise, with Franciosi on board to play a stopmotion animator in Stopmotion.

Deadline details the project, “Franciosi will play Ella Blake, a stop-motion animator struggling to control her demons after the loss of her overbearing mother, who embarks upon the creation of a film that becomes the battleground for her sanity.

“As Ella’s mind starts to fracture, the characters in her project take on a life of their own.”

Robert Morgan, who wrote the script with Robin King, is directing.

Wild Bunch International is launching the project ahead of Cannes.
