Home Depot’s 12-Foot Skeleton is Back for Halloween and This Year There’s an “Inferno Pumpkin” Version!

Home Depot‘s massive 12-foot-tall skeleton decoration went viral last year for being such an attention-grabbing Halloween display piece, and we’re happy to report that he’s back for Halloween 2021. As in, the 12-foot skeleton is up for grabs *today*, July 16th!

Oh and this year, he’s made a friend…

In addition to the 12-foot skeleton, we’re getting a 12-foot “Inferno Pumpkin” this Halloween, who looks like a mix between Pumpkinhead and Return of the Living Dead‘s Tarman!

Home Depot explains, “Lance Allen and his team first began working on the concept of a giant skeleton in 2019. The inspiration came from a massive skeleton torso they noticed after walking trade show floors and haunted houses. But instead of creating a single décor piece, they wanted to give customers a full-sized, free-standing and completely poseable skeleton.”

New this season, Lance’s team has created a pumpkin skeleton equivalent. “This year’s 12-Foot Inferno Pumpkin Skeleton is the king of our Rotten Patch collection, influenced by Midwest farms with a haunted twist.” Both skeletons are built with LifeEyes™ technology, an in-house creation that uses LCD screens in animated characters. “What’s great about the screens is that we can fully program whatever image or scene we want on them,” explains Lance. “That’s what gives Skelly his realistic blue eyes.”

While supplies last, both Halloween monstrosities are AVAILABLE NOW! The traditional skeleton will set you back $299, while the impressive Inferno Pumpkin will cost you $349.

The Top 10 Streaming Scary Movies of Today (According to Netflix)

Given that Netflix really is the master of their own data, how many times a viewer streams The Ridiculous 6, or what films don't get watched all the way straight through, or how many times someone watches an episode of Bill Nye Saves the World, it was easy for them to come up with the list based on just one percentage: 70 percent.
