After fine-tuning her sound and brand around the release of last year’s excellent I Disagree, Poppy parted ways with her longtime collaborator, leaving many of us wondering what the future would look like.
We got a taste of Poppy’s new sound this past March when she performed a brand new track to celebrate being nominated for “Best Metal Performance”.
“EAT”, the loud, angry, and high-energy track came as part of a surprise 5-song EP, which was dropped just two months ago in conjunction with Sumerian Records and WWE’s NXT.
Poppy is going music crazy in 2021 by not only releasing the surprise single “Her”, but already announcing a brand new full-length album – Flux will release on September 24th.
With the news came the following music video for the title track directed by Poppy in collaboration with Pip and Pop.
