Ted Bundy Confesses Everything in Based-on-True-Events Movie ‘No Man of God’ [Trailer]

Up next from Elijah Wood‘s production company SpectreVision (Mandy) is No Man of God, wherein Wood plays the FBI agent who Ted Bundy confessed his serial murders to.

Bundy is played by Emmy winner Luke Kirby in the film, which will be released in theaters, on demand and digital by RLJE Films on August 27, 2021. Find the trailer below.

“In 1980, Bundy was sentenced to death by electrocution. In the years that followed, he agreed to disclose the details of his crimes, but only to one man, that being Hagmaier.”

No Man of God is based on the true story of the strange and complicated relationship that developed between FBI agent Bill Hagmaier and an incarcerated Ted Bundy in the years leading to Bundy’s execution.”

The cast also includes Aleksa Palladino and Robert Patrick.

Amber Sealey directed the film, written by Kit Lesser.

Meagan wrote in her review for BD, “Sealey turns the tables by exploring whether it’s possible to empathize, as well as the human cost of understanding a monster. No new revelations about Bundy subsist here; he is every bit the remorseless monster you’d expect. But telling his final days from Hagmaier’s perspective offers a unique and refreshing angle.”
