We’re always asking for original horror films and here’s one that’s truly a unique spin on vampire lore.
Jonathan Stokes writes The Vampire Asset, an action story about a reluctant vampire recruited by the CIA to hunt down his former lover, the woman who turned him into an immortal killer, before she unleashes a global catastrophe.
The producers describe the film as being in the vein of Deadpool and John Wick, which actually calls to mind the Underworld franchise starring Kate Beckinsale.
Code Entertainment is getting behind the spec script, which they’ll fast track toward production, reports Deadline.
Code’s Al Corley and Bart Rosenblatt will produce. Scott Carr, Jonathan Stokes, and Jonathan Dana will executive produce with Code Management’s Rich Freeman.
