1982’s ‘Trick or Treats’ Coming Back to Blu-ray in Time for Halloween

Originally released on Blu-ray back in 2015, the 1982 horror movie Trick or Treats is being repressed to Blu-ray for this year’s Halloween season, via Code Red and Kino Lorber.

The Blu-ray will be re-released on October 5, 2021.

Special Features include:

  • Audio Commentary with Actors Jackie Giroux, Peter Jason, Chris Graver and Cameraman R. Michael Stringer
  • Audio Interview with Actor Steve Railsback
  • Watch in “Katarina’s Bucketlist” Mode
  • Limited Edition O-Card

In the film, “Five years after his wife, Joan (Carrie Snodgress), had him wrongfully and deliberately committed to a mental institution so she could live with her boyfriend (David Carradine), Malcolm (Peter Jason) escapes on Halloween night and arrives back at his old house to murder her. Except Joan is not home – she’s out with her boyfriend while babysitter Linda (Jacqueline Giroux) is looking after Malcolm’s 10-year-old son Christopher (Chris Graver), an equally psychotic and demented practical joker until, under cover of darkness, Malcolm shows up and begins a real terror game of attrition with Linda.”

Steve Railsback, Paul Bartel, Jillian Kesner, John Blyth Barrymore, Dan Pastorini and Tim Rossovich co-star. Written, produced and directed by cult filmmaker Gary Graver.
