‘Alan Wake Remastered’ Officially Announced For This Fall

Well, that didn’t take long. As we mentioned over the weekend, a listing popped up for Alan Wake Remastered for current and next gen systems. It wasn’t official, but Sam Lake, Creative Director of Remedy Entertainment, has changed that.

While Sam hasn’t mentioned that October 5 release date, Alan Wake Remastered will include all of the DLCs, director commentary by Sam Lake, and 4K visuals.

“I’m beyond happy to tell you that at the time of writing this, Alan Wake Remastered is nearing its completion,” explains Sam. “Confirmed, announced, coming up in partnership with Epic Games Publishing. Multiplatform. PC on the Epic Games Store, Xbox, and for the first time ever, PlayStation, this generation and the previous one.”

Sam continues saying that “Alan Wake Remastered is the original experience you fell in love with all those years ago. We did not want to change that. But the visuals all around, including the character model of Alan Wake himself and the cinematics, have been updated and improved with some choice next-generation upgrades.”

Alan Wake (the original version) is available now on PC and the Xbox 360.
