‘Never Hike Alone 2’: Womp Stomp Films Planning a Feature Length Sequel to the ‘Friday the 13th’ Fan Film

Womp Stomp Films and director Vincente DiSanti made Friday the 13th fans very happy back in 2017 with the fan film Never Hike Alone, a 50-minute short that took us back to Camp Crystal Lake for more murder and mayhem at the hands of Jason Voorhees. More recently, a prequel titled Never Hike in the Snow was released. What’s next from the team, you ask?

Announced by Womp Stomp Films today, the ambitious plan for the near future is to make a *feature length* sequel to Never Hike Alone, tentatively titled Never Hike Alone 2!

“After losing a year due to COVID, and receiving honest feedback about the mini-series idea, we have decided that we will attempt to crowdfund our next installment as a FULL FEATURE FILM instead of separate episodes,” the team explains. “Doing this will require us to run 3 SEPARATE CAMPAIGNS over the course of the next year to raise the required funding.”

First up, the Never Hike Alone “Ghost Cut” will get its own home video campaign in October 2021, with the Never Hike Alone 2 campaign expected to launch in March of 2022.

“Trust us when we say, you are not going to want to miss this one,” Womp Stomp teases.

You can check out the full statement below. Expect more soon.
