We will see the Predator arrive on Earth for the very first time in the newly-titled Prey, Disney’s Predator prequel that will arrive next summer, the studio revealed today.
From 20th Century Studios, the return of the Predator franchise is directed by Dan Trachtenberg (10 Cloverfield Lane), and it’s reportedly a prequel to the original classic that will tell the tale of the Predator’s first journey to our planet.
Amber Midthunder (“Legion”) stars as a Comanche woman who goes against gender norms and traditions to become a warrior.
Skulls has been rumored to be heading straight to Hulu, so the fact that this was announced as part of “Disney+ Day” adds fuel to the fire. No actual date was set as of this writing.
Patrick Aison (“Jack Ryan”) wrote the script.
