[Podcast] Knight Light: A Horror Movie Podcast Has a Four-Course Meal on ‘The Platform’

Knight Light: A Horror Movie Podcast takes a considerable chunk out for their Hispanic Haunts month in Galder Gaztelu-Urrutia’s The Platform!

Goreng (Iván Massagué) volunteers to become a prisoner for 6-months in a vertical cubic prison, accompanied by hundreds of other floors above and below him. His cellmate, Trimugasi (Zorion Eguileor), vaguely explains how “The Pit” works, a tower-style facility in which food is delivered via a platform that travels from the top-down, stopping for a fixed period on each floor.

Things take a dramatic turn after surviving the 48th floor when Goreng and Trimugasi wake up on the 171st floor. Goreng tied to his bed, Trimugasi with a self-sharpening knife, and no food making it down to their floor. Will Goreng survive his remaining sentence, or will Trimugasi have other plans during their descent?

Listen below and watch The Platform over on Netflix today!

The Top 10 Streaming Scary Movies of Today (According to Netflix)

Given that Netflix really is the master of their own data, how many times a viewer streams The Ridiculous 6, or what films don't get watched all the way straight through, or how many times someone watches an episode of Bill Nye Saves the World, it was easy for them to come up with the list based on just one percentage: 70 percent.
