Get ready to fight the forces of heaven, hell and everything in between with Atlus’ return to the Shin Megami Tensei series in Shin Megami Tensei V. The game is out now on the Nintendo Switch, and Atlus has kicked things off with the launch trailer to get fans psyched. And check out our review, while you’re at it.
For those who’ve been busy, Shin Megami Tensei V centres on a nameless protagonist (aka the player), a high school student who wanders into another world called “Da’at.” He then fuses with a mysterious man named Aogami, and becomes a “Nahobino,” a condemned being. Returning back in the real world with some of his classmates who also found their way in Da’at, it’s revealed that demons are bleeding into Tokyo. The protagonist and his friends are invited to join Bethel, an organization created to combat these demons.
