Alongside the upcoming re-release of Castlevania: Rondo of Blood, Limited Run Games announced last year during E3 that they were going to be releasing a physical edition of Castlevania: Requiem, which bundles Rondo of Blood with Symphony of the Night. Well, that day for Requiem will be coming January 14th at 10am ET, as Limited Run Games has announced pre-orders for the collection.
And much like they did with the physical versions for the Castlevania Anniversary Collection (still waiting on my Ultimate Edition, actually), Limited Run has gone all out with several different versions for fans. For the Standard Edition ($34.99), you get the collection on disc with a mini poster. If you’re feeling extra nostalgic, you can snag the Classic Edition ($64.99), which includes the collection, a Castlevania: Requiem Soundtrack Selection, an 18″ x 24″ inch reversible Castlevania: Requiem poster, and a retro style box featuring art from legendary Konami box artist Tom duBois.
Finally, there’s the massive Ultimate Edition ($174.99). This includes the following:
- Physical Castlevania: Requiem game for the PlayStation 4
- Premium Outer Box featuring beautiful art from Ayami Kojima
- Save Point Coffin Box – a deluxe foil-stamped two-piece box with a detachable text box recreating the iconic save point from Symphony of the Night
- Safely holds all CE contents and displays well!
- Additional double-sided Castlevania: Requiem cover sheet featuring the original cover art for Symphony of the Night on one side and the original cover art for Rondo of Blood on the other!
