[Video] ‘Have a Nice Death’ Punches in to Early Access March 8, New Gameplay Video Released

After the brief reveal last month, developer Magic Design Studios and Perfect World Entertainment have announced that their roguelike Have a Nice Death will arrive in Early Access on Steam on March 8 for $14.99. In addition, IGN snagged a new gameplay video, showing the corporate side of Death in action.

Per Gematsu, the Early Access version of the game will feature several piece of the game’s final release, including the multiple worlds, enemies and bosses, NPCs, etc. The devs state that “all that’s needed is more time to create more content.”

Have a Nice Death is expected to remain in Early Access for a year, with the team focusing on “feature and content-complete, with a concluding narrative, the full measure of gameplay elements, and additional components: Difficulty mode, accessibility options, new specific curse tree, new curses, new worlds, new enemies (bosses and mini bosses) and new weapons.”

Just in case you missed it the first time, Have a Nice Death put you as the Grim Reaper himself having to sort your employees out at Death Inc. You’ll be making your way through the procedurally-generated departments of Death Inc. handing out punishment with your trusty scythe, along with 30 weapons and spells. And since Death can’t truly die, when you’re “beaten”, you can use what you’ve learned and earned to overcome the minions and bosses in each department.
