‘Choose or Die’ Trailer – Netflix Plays the Retro Game “Curs>r” [Video]
Looking like the kitchen sink of young adult horror films, Netflix shares the trailer for Choose or Die, their latest original in which a retro game (“Curs>r”) is unboxed and wreaks havoc on a town.
Choose or Die begins after a young coder (Iola Evans) fires up a lost 80s survival horror game and unleashes a hidden curse that tears reality apart, forcing her to make terrifying decisions and face deadly consequences.
Asa Butterfield helps her play the retro horror game and A Nightmare on Elm Street‘s Robert Englund is also credited in the feature, although we only hear his voice in the trailer.
Toby Meakins directed Choose or Die, written by Simon Allen.
Potentially very good. See below. It turns out that the announcement is official according to the Carrie Bradshaw of the Sanderson bunch (Sarah Jessica Parker): there will be a "Hocus Pocus" sequel, premiering on Disney+.
