Fantasy Horror Title ‘Dread Delusion’ Springs Into Early Access on Steam [Trailer]

DreadXP and developer Lovely Hellplace have sprung a surprise launch for their open-world RPG fantasy horror title Dread Delusion into Steam Early Access. As the post explains, there’s a lot of content currently available, but there are still “significant additions” to come, including new areas, more quests and characters.

Along with the launch announcement, there’s the obligatory launch trailer, which has Dread Delusion creator James Wragg giving a brief overview of what you can expect in the game so far.

Originally debuting as part of the Haunted PS1 Demo Disc anthology collection, Dread Delusion sees players enter a world inspired by classic RPGs such as The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind and King’s Field. The game transports players into a broken world whose surface seethes with an undead curse, while humanity clings to flying continents in the sky. You are a lone prisoner who sets out on a quest that will determine the fate of the world. Along the way, you’ll encounter otherworldly horrors, unearth occult secrets, and master powerful magic in your quest to heal the cursed land, or dominate it.
