Horror Devs Come Together for “Worthy of Better, Stronger Together” Event for Reproductive Freedom

With the recent Supreme Court decision in the US to strip protection for reproductive freedoms, indie developer Abbey “Scruncho” Smith has founded Worthy of Better, Stronger Together, a game jam bundle that aims to raise aid and awareness for the basic human rights that have now become threatened.

The event is currently accepting submissions for the bundle until July 1st.

The Worthy of Better, Stronger Together bundle will consist entirely of paid games, with the proceeds split between the Center for Reproductive Rights and National Organization for Women. Not all of the games will be horror-focused, but with the likes of Puppet Combo, Akupara, TorpleDook, DreadXP and more joining the event, you know that what’s in the bundle will give you that horror fix. At the end of the submission period, the bundle will go live at 3pm CST on July 1st, and run to July 15th at 3pm CST, with a minimum $10.00 purchase price.

As of this morning, there are close to 50 games submitted for the bundle, including several titles from the Dread X Collection series, and even the recent Sucker For Love: First Date.

If you’re a dev looking to contribute to the Worthy of Better, Stronger Together bundle, you can find out more information about the bundle here.
