“Stranger Things 4: Volume 2” Full Trailer Preps for an Epic, High-Stakes Battle With Vecna

“Stranger Things 4” will be returning to Netflix on July 1 with the final two episodes of the season, including a season finale that will run a massive 2-PLUS HOURS LONG.

While you wait, you can watch the full official trailer for “Stranger Things 4: Volume 2” below, set to the tune of Kate Bush’s “Running Up That Hill” and promising an epic finale.

For the first time, the beloved residents of Hawkins may not be fully prepared for the fight, and Eleven may not be ready to save the day like she usually does. There’s definitely a dark and somber feeling to this trailer for the final two episodes of Season 4, suggesting that everyone is on the chopping block this time around. And they may not all make it out alive.

“I have this terrible feeling,” Robin tells Steve in the new footage featured in the trailer. “It might not work out for us this time.” Will Hawkins finally fall? We’ll find out on July 1st…

Meagan Navarro writes in her “Volume 1” review for BD, “As of now, season four zips along through thrilling set pieces and wildly different story arcs at a rapid enough clip to keep you entertained and invested, even as you begin to feel the immense weight of its ever-growing mythology and repeating patterns.” Stay tuned for Meagan’s “Volume 2” thoughts real soon.

Here’s the official plot synopsis for Season 4…

“It’s been six months since the Battle of Starcourt, which brought terror and destruction to Hawkins. Struggling with the aftermath, our group of friends are separated for the first time – and navigating the complexities of high school hasn’t made things any easier.

“In this most vulnerable time, a new and horrifying supernatural threat surfaces, presenting a gruesome mystery that, if solved, might finally put an end to the horrors of the Upside Down.”
