A new month is on the horizon, which means another batch of movies and TV shows coming to Netflix along with a batch of movies and TV shows LEAVING the streaming service.
On the horror front, Netflix’s new arrivals for August 2022 include Constantine (2005) and brand new original movie Day Shift, but what horrors are leaving in the coming weeks?
Bloody Disgusting has learned that We Summon the Darkness (2020) is leaving Netflix on August 7th, followed by Demonic (2015) leaving Netflix on August 9th.
Additionally, The Conjuring leaves on August 20th, while both the original A Nightmare on Elm Street and the film’s lackluster 2010 remake depart Netflix on August 31st.
Freddy Krueger isn’t the only horror icon saying goodbye to Netflix this summer, as Rob Zombie’s 2007 remake of Halloween will also be leaving Netflix on August 31st.
The good news for Freddy fans is that Freddy vs. Jason isn’t going anywhere, and Netflix also continues to stream Jason’s return in the ’09 Friday the 13th remake. Even with this latest batch of upcoming losses Netflix still remains a hot spot for slasher icons, with several Texas Chainsaw Massacre movies available to stream including this year’s brand new legacy sequel.
