WWI Survival Horror Game ‘Ad Infinitum’ Arrives April 20 Next Year, New Gameplay Trailer Released [Watch]

After being revealed to be very much alive last year, WWI Survival Horror title Ad Infinitum made an appearance during this year’s Nacon Connect with a brand-new release date of April 20, 2023 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam. Not only that, but we also got a new gameplay trailer for Ad Infinitum, showing that war really is Hell on Earth.

Ad Infinitum puts you in the boots of a German soldier stuck in the trenches during The Great War. In this surreal nightmare focusing on atmosphere and story, you must overcome pain, despair and corruption while fighting for your life and sanity. Terrible creatures, death traps, and insane mysteries mark your path through the battlefield. Overcome them to save your soul and reveal more sinister truths.

As for the gameplay trailer for Ad Infinitum, it capitalizes on the “nightmare” part of its description, showing off some of the horrific monsters you’ll be encountering (and running from) in the game.

Additional info about Ad Infinitum can be gleaned from the official site. The title will feature “challenging puzzles embedded into the historical setting”, along with “historically accurate equipment and environments”. Ad Infinitum will also feature stealth gameplay, with the game world itself changing based on player decisions, and a story about the “tragedy of a family”.
