‘Charon’s Staircase’ Now Available on PC and Consoles [Trailer]

If you’re looking for a last-minute addition to your Halloween gaming playlist, Indigo Studios’ Charon’s Staircase is now available for PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, PlayStation and Xbox consoles, and the Nintendo Switch. Accompanying the game’s release is the requisite launch trailer.

In Charon’s Staircase, you are an agent codenamed “Desmond”. Assigned by the totalitarian regime known as The Ministry, you set out to bury The Ministry’s horrible past by retrieving and destroying classified documents in the experimental facility of Oack Grove. However, you soon discover Project Alpha, a rather unpleasant secret that The Ministry is keen on keeping under wraps.  Venture through nightmarish landscapes, solve puzzles, decipher codes, and avoid dangers to unravel the macabre events that took place years ago.

Charon’s Staircase features a story “filled with mystery while telling a dark and dramatic narrative” through its dark and ominous environments inspired by the 70s Central European era, chilling details and fully-voiced narration.

And seeing as it’s the Halloween season, for Steam users, there’s a little treat for those interested in grabbing Charon’s Staircase: from now until November 3rd, the game can be purchased with a cool 10% discount attached.

While you’re at it, you can also check out the Steam Scream Fest sale for other discounted horror titles until November 1st.
