Escape Room Survival Horror Game ‘Do Not Open’ Releases November 15 [Trailer]

Developer NOX NOCTIS and publisher UNREALITY S.L. have announced that their upcoming escape room influenced survival horror title Do Not Open will arrive for PlayStation 5 and Steam users on November 15th, with a European physical version for the PS5 arriving on November 25th. North American players can expect their physical version to release early 2023.

For last-gen gamers who feel like they’ll be missing out, don’t worry. The PlayStation 4 version of Do Not Open will also be released in early 2023. NOX NOCTIS is also working away at a “definitive VR version” of Do Not Open for the upcoming PlayStationVR2.

Do Not Open is described as being based on procedural puzzle generation mixed with “classic survival-horror mechanics”. You play as Michael J. Goreng, a zoologist and epidemiologist who has become trapped in a warped version of his own house with his wife and daughter. Stalked by a paranormal threat, you must escape the house. It’d be simple if it weren’t for the fact that time is not on his side. With the clock ticking down to zero, he must solve the puzzles within each room he encounters in order to survive.

You can now wishlist the game on the US and UK PlayStation Stores.
