The ‘Fallout’ Series at 25! [Safe Room Podcast]

Before diving into this week’s brand-new episode of Safe Room, please check out this month’s edition of Horror Bytes featuring @HorrorVisuals!

War never changes, but Fallout certainly has.

The Fallout franchise has lived many lives in the 25 years since Interplay Entertainment released its seminal post-apocalyptic RPG. From turn-based isometric to action RPG to massively multiplayer online, Fallout has never shied away from change.

While some of these changes were more difficult for long-time fans to swallow, Fallout has consistently delivered on Nuclear age gallows humor and singularly creative storytelling no matter the form its gameplay takes.

So for this week’s episode, Neil and I dive into what makes the Fallout franchise such a standout RPG series 25 years later, our favorite elements of Bethesda storytelling, and our favorite entries in the franchise! –Jay Krieger

Safe Room is a weekly horror video game discussion podcast with new episodes every Monday on iTunes/Apple, Sticher, Spotify, Google Podcasts, and Linktree for additional streaming services.
