Train Survival Horror Game ‘Choo-Choo Charles’ Chugs to a December 9 Release [Trailer]

After making an appearance last month at Feardemic’s Fear Fest: Black Summer showcase, Two Star Games’ Choo-Choo Charles has finally gotten its release date. The devs announced over the weekend that we can expect Charles creep on home for Christmas on December 9th. And we get a brand new trailer showing more of the bloodthirsty train in action.

Just in case you’ve never heard (or seen) Choo-Choo Charles before, the objective is pretty clear: a group of settlers has asked you for help with killing a monster known only as “Charles”. It turns out that Charles is some demonic train that is on the prowl for unsuspecting train operators. Before you tackle Charles head on, you’ll need to upgrade your engine so that it’ll be fast enough to outpace the monster, as well as equip yourself with enough firepower to take Charles down. In order to do that, you’ll need to perform tasks for the settlers to get the much-needed rewards.

In addition to more Charles, the trailer also provides glimpses of just what players can expect when it comes to helping out the settlers. You’ll be having to travel along the tracks to reach specific locations, changing over the tracks as needed. All the while, you’ll be having to maintain your stealth in order to avoid attracting Charles. There are also minigames you’ll be performing to unlock chests with your much-needed loot.

After you catch your breath from watching the trailer, get in on that wishlisting on Steam.
