Wales Interactive Launches ‘Sker Ritual’ Tomorrow Instead of October 13

Wales Interactive has decided to cancel their upcoming Early Access launch on October 13th for Sker Ritual. Why? Because they’ve bumped it up to October 6th. That’s right, the first episode for Wales Interactive’s follow-up to Maid of Sker will be hitting Steam tomorrow!

In a post on Twitter, the team acknowledges the potential consequences for allowing players one week early access to the game, but the team believes Sker Ritual is “ready” for players to dive in. On top of launching the first episode of Sker Ritual tomorrow at 10am PT/6pm BST, Wales Interactive will also launch their Sker Collectors bundle, which includes both Sker Ritual and Maid of Sker.

The devs will also be relaying more information soon on the upcoming free Sker Pass reward system (which was alluded to when the Early Access date was originally announced) as well as additional DLC & bundled content. The Sker Pass will launch with 50 free items, with each Episode update offering 25 new items to unlock.

Sker Ritual will initially launch on Steam, with plans to fully launch on PC and consoles in Q2 2023. The next planned episode for Sker Ritual will arrive in December, called “The Ashes of Sker Hotel”.
