‘House of the Dead: Remake Limidead Edition’ Now Available on PlayStation 4

If you’re still looking for a gift for your horror gaming family/friends, Microids and Forever Entertainment have a potential solution with The House of the Dead: Remake Limidead Edition, which is now available for the PlayStation 4. The Xbox version will be coming next year.

In case you missed it, the Limidead Edition includes the remake itself, as well as an exclusive lenticular box, two character stands and a sticker sheet. Previously, publisher Microids had released the Limidead Edition for the Nintendo Switch version of the game back in May.

Fans all know the story by now. But for you newcomers, Sega’s classic light gun shooter sees renowned biochemist and geneticist, Dr Roy Curien, discover the secrets of life and death. However, in doing so, he unleashes the living dead upon the unsuspecting populace. In response, his former colleague, Sophie Richards, requests assistance from her friends at AMS; Thomas Rogan and agent G. Their mission is simple: stop the doctor’s macabre project and save all the employees of the lab.

The House of the Dead: Remake was originally released on the Nintendo Switch digitally on April 7 of this year, with the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam on April 28. Here’s hoping for the remake of the sequel next year.
