‘Beau Is Afraid’ – Ari Aster’s New Movie Gets Official Poster Ahead of Trailer Debut Next Week

Up next from A24 and Ari Aster (Hereditary, Midsommar) is the film Beau Is Afraid, “an intimate, decades-spanning portrait of one of the most successful entrepreneurs of all time.”

Formerly titled Disappointment Blvd., we’ve learned today that the official trailer for Beau Is Afraid will debut on Tuesday, January 10. In the meantime, find the official poster below.

Joaquin Phoenix stars in the upcoming Ari Aster movie, and judging by this brand new poster, he appears to be playing the titular character at various different stages in his life.

Beau Is Afraid will arrive in theaters this coming April.

Parker Posey (“Lost in Space”), Stephen McKinley Henderson (Dune), Denis Ménochet (The French Dispatch), Hayley Squires (In the Earth), Michael Gandolfini (The Many Saints of Newark) and Zoe Lister-Jones (the director of The Craft: Legacy) have joined a cast that also includes Nathan Lane (“Penny Dreadful: City of Angels”), Patti LuPone (“Hollywood”), Amy Ryan (Only Murders in the Building), and Kylie Rogers (“Yellowstone”).

A24 will produce and finance the film, penned by Aster.

Aster and Lars Knudsen are producing for Square Peg.
