Officially announced just a couple weeks back, Vin Diesel will return in Riddick: Furya, the upcoming fourth installment in the Riddick franchise that’s being directed by David Twohy.
In the new film, Riddick finally returns to his home world, a place he barely remembers and one he fears might be left in ruins by the Necromongers.
But there he finds other Furyans fighting for their existence against a new enemy. And some of these Furyans are more like Riddick than he could have ever imagined.
David Twohy‘s 2000 film Pitch Black was our introduction to Vin Diesel as an action star, and the actor of course went on reprise the role of monster-killer Richard B. Riddick in 2004’s The Chronicles of Riddick and most recently, 2013’s Riddick. All three films are coming to Netflix in March 2023, we’ve learned this week, just in time for the fourth movie’s announcement.
