Experience ‘Sons of the Forest’ Multiplayer in New Trailer [Watch]

With Sons of the Forest out in Early Access today on Steam, for those curious as to what the multiplayer component is like for Endnight Games’ open world Survival Horror title, IGN offers up a glimpse for those still on the fence over making a purchase.

The multiplayer trailer shows kicks off on a peaceful note, as footage cuts between two friends navigating the forest and caves, before settling down to construct a house. But as you know, the island isn’t entirely peaceful, what with those mutant cannibals and all. Things turn south quickly, as a roving band of said cannibals descends upon the house, requiring the friends to arm up and beat back the horde.

But even if you can’t find someone in multiplayer to team up with you in Sons of the Forest, there’s always Kalvin, your AI buddy who survived the crash with you, who’s able to help you out with construction and defense.

Similar to the 2018 original, Sons of the Forest’s sees you trapped on a cannibal-infested island after being sent to find a missing billionaire. You’ll be relying heavily on survival skills to survive. Survival is the name of the game, as is the interaction. You’ll be breaking sticks to make fires, and using an axe to cut out windows and floors.

Currently, Sons of the Forest is available on Steam. No mention of a console version at this time.

The Top 10 Streaming Scary Movies of Today (According to Netflix)

Given that Netflix really is the master of their own data, how many times a viewer streams The Ridiculous 6, or what films don't get watched all the way straight through, or how many times someone watches an episode of Bill Nye Saves the World, it was easy for them to come up with the list based on just one percentage: 70 percent.
