New ‘Vampire Survivors’ DLC “Tides of the Foscari” Arriving April 13th [Trailer]

After the release of “Legacy of the Moonspell” back in December, developer poncle has announced another DLC for Vampire Survivors in “Tides of the Foscari”. The new fantasy-themed DLC will arrive on PC and consoles on April 13th for the low price of $1.99 USD.

This of course comes on the heels of Vampire Survivors bringing home BAFTA Game Awards for Best Design and Best Game.

The story for the DLC concerns Foscari Academy, a school where the elite of the world train their children for careers as powerful wizards, indefatigable generals, and expert spies. The Academy is divided into three houses, a premise hitherto untouched in all of fantasy fiction – The Azure Tower, The Crimson Anvil and The Amber Sickle. Three students, one from each house, brave the journey into a forest stuffed with mythological creatures, all to have a jolly adventure, with absolutely nothing interrupting the whimsy.

As mentioned, Tides of the Foscari will take things in a more fantasy hero folklore direction for Vampire Survivors, “packed to the rafters with hulking swordsmen, crafty mages, and quick-shooting rogues.” Not only will there be a new stage to get stuck into, there will three new characters to choose from, 13 new weapons, seven new music tracks and more for those who are looking for their “just one more round” fix.

Vampire Survivors is currently available on Steam as well as the Xbox One and the Xbox Series.
