19th Century Survival Horror Game ‘Shame Legacy’ Out Now on Consoles and PC [Trailer]

If you’re looking for something in the Survival Horror vein this week, Fairyship Games and Revenant Games’ Shame Legacy has you covered. Released yesterday onto PC and consoles (current and last-gen), Shame Legacy‘s launch trailer will certainly get you in the mood, thanks to the game’s dark atmosphere.

In case you missed the premise leading up to its release, Shame Legacy takes place in the 19th century in a remote village. You wake up to a witch hunt taking place in your village. You quickly realize that you’re the witch they’re after. The legacy of your family seems to have caught up to you, and now you’ve got to get to the root of it all.

In typical Survival Horror fashion, you’ve got to move silently and avoid contact in Shame Legacy. The villagers are all over the place, looking for you. And they’re pretty quick to jump on you if they see or hear you. Luckily, you’ve got the mental ability to avoid detection, as well as solve any puzzles that come your way. You also have with you your trusty cane, which can fend off any villagers or other monstrosities that cross paths with you, as well as use it to help solve the aforementioned puzzles.

Shame Legacy is out now for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. The Steam release is currently enjoying a 15% discount until June 6.
