After the announcement trailer back in March, you’re probably wanting more from Fairyship Games and Revenant Games’ upcoming survival horror title Shame Legacy. Lucky for you, the newest trailer builds upon the previous trailer, introducing players to a valuable tool (and defensive weapon) in the form of the cane, as well as showing off more of the game’s environments and personalities.
This newest trailer for Shame Legacy introduces the cane – a valuable piece of equipment used for defensive purposes and puzzle-solving, allowing the main character to get closer to figuring out his connection to the bloody events in the village.
Speaking of which, the game sees you waking up in a 19th century equivalent of an anger management convention, aka a witch hunt is taking place in your village. You quickly realize that you’re the witch they’re after. The legacy of your family seems to have caught up to you, and now you’ve got to get to the root of it all.
In order to do so, you’ve got to move silently and avoid contact. The villagers are all over the place, looking for you. And they’re pretty quick to jump on you if they see or hear you. Luckily, you’ve got the mental ability to avoid detection, as well as solved any puzzles that come your way. You also have the aforementioned cane, which can fend off any villagers or other monstrosities that cross paths with you.
Shame Legacy will arrive on May 30 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
