‘The Expanse: A Telltale Series’ Launches July 27th on Consoles and PC

After teasing fans at last year’s Gamescom, the reborn Telltale Games has finally announced that Episode 1 of The Expanse: A Telltale Series will launch this summer. The game will arrive on July 27th for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, Xbox One and PC via the Epic Games Store.

That’s not all, as following the release of Episode 1, the next four episodes will release every two weeks. Pre-orders for both the Standard ($39.99) and Deluxe Editions ($44.99) will go live on June 1. Pre-ordering The Expanse: A Telltale Series will grant players 24-hour early access on the PlayStation and Epic Games Store versions, while those who purchase the Deluxe Edition will also receive future DLC. Said DLC will be detailed in a future update.

Based on the Amazon series, The Expanse: A Telltale Series sees players take on the role of Camina Drummer (with actress Cara Gee reprising her role from the Amazon series), the leader of a scavenging crew on the hunt for a mysterious treasure on the edges of The Belt. As Drummer, players must work with a mix of powerful personalities, square off against a bloody mutiny, explore locations beyond The Belt and, as with many Telltale games, make tough decisions that will decide the outcome of the game’s story.
