Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai The Two-Part Season Finale Is Now Streaming on Max

The first season of Max’s animated series “Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai” is now streaming in full, with the two-part season finale added to the streaming service this week.

The two-episode Season 1 finale of “Gremlins” consists of Episode 9: “Never Give Up” and Episode 10: “Never Ever Expose Them to Bright Light.

And don’t worry, Season 2 is on the way!

Creator Tze Chun tweets, “We already have a season 2 pretty much finished.”

Preview a clip from the Season 1 finale below, and stream both new episodes on Max.

The half-hour animated series from WB Animation and Amblin TV is set in 1920s Shanghai and tells the story of how 10-year-old Sam Wing met the young Mogwai called Gizmo.

“A period piece set in 1920s Shanghai, the series reveals how a 10-year-old Sam Wing – who becomes the future shop owner Mr. Wing in the 1984 movie – met the young Mogwai called Gizmo. They strike up a lifelong friendship as Wing attempts to return Gizmo to his family, encountering and sometimes battling colorful monsters and spirits from Chinese folklore.

“Meanwhile, the two and street thief Elle are pursued by a power-hungry industrialist and his growing army of evil Gremlins.”
