Puppet Combo’s Throwback Survival Slasher ‘Stay Out of the House’ Hits Consoles June 16

With Puppet Combo’s throwback slasher Stay Out of the House being unleashed onto PC last October, it was only a matter of time before the game made its way onto consoles. Lo and behold, console owners will get their chance to escape The Butcher later this month when Stay Out of the House hits Xbox One, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and the Nintendo Switch on June 16th.

Touted as “a realistic serial killer victim sim” with throwback PS1-style graphics, you play as Roxanne. You’ve been kidnapped and held captive in a cannibal butcher’s house. Escape however you can. The house is a living sandbox with multiple possibilities, including other captives. Will you rescue the other victims or just save yourself? Will you hide in the shadows and slip away undetected or turn the tables, using The Butcher’s own traps against him? The choices are yours and the AI will react to them dynamically.

Part survival horror, part immersive stealth simulator. You’ll be resorting to hiding in the vents, picking locks, setting traps, and overall just avoiding detection. There’s a .38 caliber revolver somewhere in the house, so keep an eye out for it. Along the way, search for clues as you explore if you truly want answers to this madness.

Stay Out of the House is also available on Steam.
