“Castlevania: Nocturne” Trailer – The Bloody Origin Story of Richter Belmont Begins September 28

The Castlevania franchise returns to Netflix with brand new animated series “Castlevania: Nocturne,” and this time around Richter Belmont is taking over from Trevor as the latest of the Belmont clan to suit up for a little vampire hunting adventure.

“Castlevania: Nocturne” will premiere on September 28, 2023, and as promised, the official teaser trailer has been unleashed this morning. You can watch it down below.

The new series focuses on Richter Belmont’s origin story, featuring vampires in the French Revolution.

“The gory and gothic adventures of the Castlevania franchise continue with an exciting new setting and their highest stakes yet.

“A gripping story of love and loss, Nocturne marks an evolution to the original fan-favorite Castlevania Netflix Series. Featuring a never before seen origin story of Richter Belmont (gaming icon, and one of the franchise’s most beloved characters).”

The series is led by showrunner Kevin Kolde and Creator/Writer Clive Bradley. Produced by Project 51 Productions with production services provided by Powerhouse Animation.

Netflix’s “Castlevania” animated series ended with Season 4 back in 2021.
