Limited Collector’s Edition of ‘Daymare: 1994 Sandcastle’ Announced for Consoles

While the regular retail edition of Invader Studios’ Daymare: 1994 Sandcastle will be launching for consoles and PC later this month, those who are looking for a little something extra can indulge in the game’s  limited Collector’s Editi0n next month. The Daymare: 1994 Sandcastle Collector’s Edition will be released for PlayStation and Xbox on September 26, 2023, with the Nintendo Switch version launching later in 2023. Pre-orders are now open on Amazon.

Courtesy of GS2 Games, the very limited Collector’s Edition (5,000 units per platform, with certificate of authenticity included) includes the game, as well as a set of character cards depicting the main characters of Daymare: 1994 Sandcastle. Each card features an illustration of the character, with a detailed description of their role in the game. Also included in the Collector’s Edition is a set of enamel pins, and a set of collectible stickers.

The prequel to Daymare: 1998, Daymare: 1994 Sandcastle cast players as special agent Dalila Reyes, a former government spy now in the service of the H.A.D.E.S. (Hexacore Advanced Division for Extraction and Search) unit. Reyes’ mission seems simple: enter the most advanced experimental research centre in the United States of America. Original Resident Evil live-action cutscene actor Charlie Kraslavsky will be cameoing in the game.

Daymare: 1994 Sandcastle will launch for PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, Xbox One and the Nintendo Switch on August 30th.
