Physical Editions of Eco-Horror Puzzle Platformer ‘One Last Breath’ Announced Ahead of Release Date

While it’s not quite The Bay or Phase IV, but if you fancy some eco horror in your gaming,  Moonatic Studios and Maniac Panda Games look to have your fix with One Last Breath. The puzzle platformer is coming digitally to PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and the Nintendo Switch, with physical releases for the PS5 and Nintendo Switch, which are now up for pre-order.

Set in a post-apocalyptic world, you play as Gaia, an earth goddess born from nature’s very last breath. Thrust into an existence where mankind has all but vanished, it’s up to Gaia to discover what happened to mankind, and restore life back to the planet. However, decades of pollution and greed have twisted the world into a hostile ruin full of mutants.

Balance is the name of the game in One Last Breath. You will find both brutality and tenderness in this world while trying to survive strange creatures and protect the defenseless ones. Luckily as Gaia, you have access to powers that allow you to control the environment – such as creating paths using tree trunks or summoning vines to hang between gaps – which are used to solve the puzzles found throughout the environment. Remnants of mankind are still found throughout the world, namely in the abandoned factories filled with hazards that are somehow still operational. You’ll also have to be aware of the mutants, who will relentlessly hunt you.
