Physics-Based Sci-Fi Horror Adventure ‘Horror Tales: The Beggar’ to Receive Physical PS5 Version [Trailer]

Solo developer Carlos Coronado has teamed up with JanduSoft to bring a “dynamic fusion of physics-based combat and mind-bending puzzles” to Steam, PlayStation and Xbox players with Horror Tales: The Beggar. The follow-up to 2021’s Horror Tales: The Wine, Horror Tales: The Beggar is slated for release later this year, and will also have a physical version for the PlayStation 5, which you can pre-order now via the Tesura Games Store.

The story sees players step into the aftermath of a catastrophic event, where “terror and science fiction intertwine amidst the ruins of a shattered world.” You will explore the remnants of a once-thriving civilization, now reduced to a treacherous landscape that’s now been shaped by the chaos of cataclysmic forces.

The main gameplay mechanic of Horror Tales: The Beggar sees players engage in physics-based combat that “adheres to the laws of the game world.” You’ll have to think strategically in order to adapt to the constantly shifting challenges, navigating the world where every action and reaction is governed by the principles of physics.

As for the physical PlayStation 5 edition of the game, you’ll receive a digital copy of Horror Tales: The Wine, as well as an exclusive reversible cover and a glow-in-the-dark slipcover.
