Real-Time Tactics Game ‘Dead Season’ Announced for Later This Year [Trailer]

Iceberg Interactive (the same publisher who brought you Hellbreach: Vegas) and Netherlands-based developer Snail Bite have announced their new turn-based tactics title, Dead Season. Set in a post-apocalyptic world plagued by zombies, Dead Season is set to release later this year for PC via Steam, and the Epic Games Store.

As you might expect, the world of Dead Season sees you guiding a group of strangers in their struggle to survive a world overrun by a zombie apocalypse. You’ll need to scavenge for items, complete objectives, and strategize to survive against relentless undead hordes. You’ll need to be wary, however, as noise will attract more attention to your group, potentially resulting in more dangerous threats making an appearance.

Featuring a single-player campaign with 16 missions, the story of Dead Season unfolds through a motion comics-based narrative. As you make your way through the “unforgiving” turn-based combat, you will level up  and unlock new abilities to outsmart and outlast the undead.

You’ll not only have to deal with the undead, but also roving gangs looking to steal your supplies. It’s all set against a backdrop of nights “filled with terror and streets cloaked in shadows.”
