‘Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga’ Now Available on Digital at Home

After making $168 million at the worldwide box office, a far cry from Fury Road‘s $380 million total haul back in 2015, George Miller’s Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga has come home.

A prequel to Fury Road starring Anya Taylor-Joy as the title character, Furiosa is now available on Digital at home. You can rent the film for $24.99 or purchase it for $29.99.

The film tells the origin story of the character Charlize Theron made famous in Fury Road, which was of course also directed by Mad Max franchise mastermind George Miller.

“As the world fell, young Furiosa is snatched from the Green Place of Many Mothers and falls into the hands of a great Biker Horde led by the Warlord Dementus. Sweeping through the Wasteland they come across the Citadel presided over by the Immortan Joe. While the two Tyrants war for dominance, Furiosa must survive many trials as she puts together the means to find her way home.”

Chris Hemsworth co-stars as Warlord Dementus.

Back in 2015, Mad Max: Fury Road grossed nearly $400 million worldwide at the box office and won SIX Oscars, while also scoring rave reviews nearly across the entire board. While Furiosa hasn’t been able to make quite as much money, one thing it does share in common with Fury Road are its rave reviews. The film currently sits at 90% fresh on Rotten Tomatoes.
