Time-Limited Demo Available Today for Slaughterhouse Adventure Game ‘Saborus’

Slaughterhouses aren’t the most pleasant of places. Knowing this, QUByte Interactive and developer High Room Studio are presenting a unique perspective with their upcoming horror adventure title, Saborus. Currently in “the final stretch” of development, players can check out the demo for Saborus later today when the OTK Games Expo kicks off on Steam, though fair warning, the demo is available for two days only.

Inspired by a member of the development team losing their pet chicken, and the horror that animals face in slaughterhouses, Saborus puts players in the role of a chicken trapped inside a slaughterhouse owned by a large food industry company, the eponymous Saborus. With no special powers and no weapons of any kind, the player must escape the slaughterhouse.

The player must guide the chicken by solving puzzles and using objects in the environment to escape certain death. All the while, the player must avoid the all the slaughterhouse workers pursuing the hapless fowl, as well as the genetically-modified animals that are being bred by Saborus.

In addition to a Steam release, Saborus is also planned for release on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch.
