Dockets Return in ‘Dying Light: The Beast’ [Trailer]

After hyping up Dying Light‘s 10th anniversary last week, Techland has dropped some news regarding Dockets for the upcoming Dying Light: The Beast. Already a well established tradition since the original Dying Light, Dockets have now been reimagined for The Beast.

For those not in the know, Dockets are codes hidden in plain sight that can be redeemed for exclusive in-game rewards, even before Dying Light: The Beast launches! You can find the elusive codes by watching (and re-watching) trailers, exploring social media, or digging into the lore of Dying Light. Persistence pays off, and with Dockets, it pays off with exclusive gear.

Some dockets are easy to find (including in the tutorial video below), while others are well hidden. They also might have made their way into some older assets – so it’s worth rewatching earlier trailers and checking every combination of letters and numbers that seems to be out of place.

Dying Light: The Beast is the expansion-turned-full-game that revolves around Dying Light protagonist Kyle Crane. After breaking free from a decade of experimentation, Kyle discovers a changed world… and so has he. Explore the once-picturesque tourist destination Castor Woods in a quest for revenge against The Baron, the man responsible for Kyle’s imprisonment. Harness Kyle’s half-human, half-zombie DNA to unleash devastating powers along with his survival and parkour skills, complete with four-player co-op support.

Look for Dying Light: The Beast when it launches on August 22 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
