‘Dust Bunny’: Watch the Trailer for the Debut Movie from ‘Hannibal’ Creator Byran Fuller

Dust Bunny

We’ve got the trailer, poster, and first look images for Dust Bunny, one of the most anticipated genre releases of the year. From visionary creator Bryan Fuller (Hannibal), this one promises to be a fantastical, scary, and magical feature directorial debut!

In Dust Bunny, a 10-year-old girl joins forces with her hit man neighbor to confront each other’s monsters. Ten-year-old Aurora has a mysterious neighbor (Mads Mikkelsen) who kills real-life monsters. He’s a hit man for hire. So, when Aurora needs help killing the beast that ate her entire family, she procures his services. Suspecting that her parents may have fallen victim to assassins gunning for him, Aurora’s neighbor guiltily takes the job. Now, to protect her, he’ll need to battle an onslaught of assassins ― and accept that some monsters are real.

“It straddles action, fantasy, and horror,” Peter Kuplowsky, lead programmer at TIFF’s Midnight Madness, told me last month. “It’s got incredible creature work, and also Sigourney Weaver and David Dastmalchian supporting—this could be a gateway horror movie if your kid’s cool enough to stay up till midnight.”

Check out the poster and trailer for Dust Bunny right here

I’ll be at the world premiere of Dust Bunny tonight at TIFF, so you’ll get a review on Dread Central ASAP. Keep an eye on this space for more thoughts and updates on the film as they become available.
